The Human System: An Incredible Feat

How much do you really know about your body? Aside from the average excretion of waste per day, do you know many systems are working together in order to function properly in this world? DId you know that there are different proteins, amino acids, and cells with DNA that all have specific characteristics that make up who you are? The human body is an incredibly complex organism so in this article, we’ll dive into two of the most important systems for the human body!

The Respiratory System:

The first system we’re going to be taking a look at is the respiratory system. From the name, we can identify that the respiratory system is going to be the system that helps you breathe in and out. The respiratory system is made up of your lungs, airways, diaphragm voice box, throat, and many of the other organs that help you breathe. This system helps protect yourself from harmful particles and germs and also allows you to smell and speak. However, its main function is to release carbon dioxide when you breathe out and inhale oxygen. Finally, the respiratory system helps balance the acidity in your body.

Cardiovascular System:

The next system we’re going to be talking about is the cardiovascular system. The cardiovascular system is considered as one of the most important systems, as it is getting oxygen and nutrients to your entire body and removing waste. The main organs that make up the cardiovascular system are the heart, and many other blood vessels. Your heart uses intricate blood vessels to pump out blood and oxygen to all the different parts of the body. This network also removes excess waste and takes redundant items to the waste part of the body. Finally, this system allows for circulation within the overall body. This is why the cardiovascular system is valued so highly.
